• As an innovator, how will my materials and IP be protected?
  When the time is right, you might submit an Invention Disclosure Form (IDF) to the Duke Office of Translation and Commercialization (OTC). The IDF is the first step in documenting, and ultimately, protecting and licensing your innovation. Note: not all inventions will have intellectual property (IP). • Will i-Cubed invest in my idea or startup?
  We do not provide direct funding. i-Cubed invests in startup ideas by providing resources and support to launch the idea into a business.
• Will i-Cubed help me source capital through external investment or grants?
  Yes. We work closely with innovators to identify funding through established relationships with government agencies, venture capitalists, and other funders.
